KHA chooses Thomson Reuters for automated tools that drive audit efficiency

Cloud Audit Suite delivers innovative technology for efficient and accurate audits

TORONTO, March 25, 2025 – Thomson Reuters (TSX/Nasdaq: TRI), a global content and technology company, today announced it has signed KHA as a new customer of Cloud Audit Suite. This collaboration will provide KHA with a comprehensive software suite to harness AI to reduce the need for over-auditing, helping the firm to improve efficiency and enhance the audit process.

Josh Coronado, audit partner at KHA, said: “As a firm, we see technology as the linchpin in ensuring we remain competitive. The new automated capabilities of the Thomson Reuters Audit Intelligence suite coupled with the trust and familiarity we already have in the methodology, meant selecting Cloud Audit Suite was a quick decision for our firm.”

Texas-based firm KHA has been in business for over 50 years, staying competitive by using the latest technology to deliver value for their clients. “We have a small team, so partnering with someone like Thomson Reuters ensures we have quality engagements. It’s essential for us to have a solution that’s been rigorously tested, and we really want something that's going to challenge the audit process, drive efficiency, and ensure we’re not over-auditing. Thomson Reuters is a powerhouse, and they’re able to meet these requirements and deliver our firm innovative AI capabilities,” added Coronado.

Today, research from Thomson Reuters shows that 58% of firms continue to struggle with attracting skilled professionals, meaning the need for efficiency in the audit workflow has never been greater. AI-powered Audit Intelligence Analyze from Thomson Reuters is designed to help auditors save valuable time with its ability to segment audit testing populations based on risk level, which may reduce sample sizes. Audit Intelligence Test, coming later this year, will further automate audit processes by auto-matching the supporting evidence of samples for testing.

Dave Wyle, general manager of Audit at Thomson Reuters, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting KHA with modernizing their audit workflow, and improving the overall efficiency of their audit process. Cloud Audit Suite is designed to handle clients of varying sizes, ensuring that audits are tailored to their specific needs and minimizing the risk of under or over-auditing. Our latest solutions will help KHA save time preparing for the audit, reduce risk, and gain greater insights, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. With Thomson Reuters, KHA can confidently navigate the complexities of the audit profession, knowing they have a trusted partner committed to driving excellence and innovation in the industry.”
