Error: You are currently registered as ONESOURCE client...

Scenario

If you're a ONESOURCE Firm Edition customer, you can reuse the workpapers of one client with other clients. For example, if you're a user in the accounting firm ABC that always does work for the client 123, you can download a workpaper that's associated with another client, such as client 456, and associate the workpaper with client 123.
When you open a workpaper associated with a different client, you receive the following warning, and you're unable to use any of the functions in the workpaper until you change its association. 
You are currently registered as ONESOURCE client "123". This workpaper, however, is associated with ONESOURCE client "456". As a result, buttons in the Workpapers add-in will be disabled. Change the association of this workpaper for formulas to execute successfully.

Solution

To change the association of a workpaper to a different client:
  1. In Excel, go to
    Settings
    ,
    Workbook Settings
    .
  2. Select
    Account Info
    , and then select
    Change to currently registered account
    .
  3. Select
    Yes
     to associate the workpaper with your current client.
  4. Select one of the following options:
    1. Yes - Recalculates and retrieves data.
    2. No - Doesn't retrieve data.
    3. Cancel - No recalculation or resetting (this also changes the association of the workpaper).
  5. Close the
    Workbook Settings
     pop-up.
