About the Excel Add-in for workpapers

The Excel Add-in enables you to perform many workpaper tasks directly in Excel.

Download the add-in

To download and install the Add-in for workpapers:
  1. In Workpapers, select
    Add-in
    and then
    Download
    .
  2. Go to the directory containing the downloaded file, and execute
    ONESOURCE Add-in Suite.exe
    .
  3. Select
    Next
    .
    note
    If your computer doesn't have the Microsoft .NET Framework (or has an outdated version), you receive the Welcome to the Prerequisites Setup Wizard pop-up. The installer asks you if you want the Microsoft .NET Framework installed or upgraded for you.
  4. Select
    ONESOURCE Workpapers Add-in for Excel
    , and then select
    Next
    .
  5. Select
    Launch
    to install the Add-in.

    A security warning may appear, depending on your workstation's settings. If this message appears, select
    Run
    .
  6. Select
    Next
    .
  7. Select a folder for the Add-in files, and then select
    Next
    .
  8. Select
    Install
    , and then
    Finish
    . The next time you open Excel, the
    Workpapers
    tab will appear in the ribbon.
