Use the Log Off Applications utility

The Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) Log Off Applications utility searches for your Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) sessions on the Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) servers and logs off any session that it finds. If an application has been unresponsive for a significant period, or if you get an error when trying to open a Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) application, you can try to sign off from any AVD session using this utility and then reopen your applications.
When to use the Log Off Applications utility:
  • If an application isn't responding, you have allowed it sufficient time to complete any long-running tasks, and you believe it may be locked-up.
  • When opening a Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) application, you're prompted that only 1 instance of the application is allowed but you can't access or close any other instance.
  • If you experience an internet connection issue and can't open your applications after reconnecting.
  • If you get an error message on a computer where you have previously opened Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) applications successfully.
Use the utility:
  1. If you can, save any work in your open Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and close them. You'll lose any unsaved work when the utility closes your applications.
  2. Open the Log Off Applications utility from NetStaff CS or NetClient CS.
  3. When the utility opens, go to the text field and enter
    logoff
    then select
    Continue
    .
  4. Wait a few seconds until you get a window that says
Your Remote Desktop Services session has ended
    .
  5. After that, try opening your applications again.
