Export client data from Bill.com to a spreadsheet

If your client uses Bill.com to pay their bills, you can export data (bills and bill payment transactions) from their Bill.com account to a spreadsheet. You can then import data from the spreadsheet into the application.
  1. Stage 1: Export from Bill.com
  2. Sign in to your client's Bill.com account.
  3. Select
    Reports
    .
  4. In Export Reports:
    • Choose
      Cash Detail Report
      if your client is a cash-basis client in the application.
    • Choose
      Accrual Detail Report
      if your client is an accrual-basis client in the application.
  5. Specify the date range for export.
  6. You can mark the
    Show bill description
    checkbox to include a description of each bill in the exported data
  7. Select
    Download
    .
  8. Enter a filename and choose a destination, then select
    Save.
  9. Stage 2: Prepare and import the file
  10. Open the CSV file from Excel.
  11. Save it as an XLS or XLSX file.
